Additional Information
Test includes: Protein C Functional Activity, Protein S Functional Activity, Cardiolipin IgG Antibody, Cardiolipin IgM Antibody, Pt G20210A Gene Mutation, Factor V (5) Leiden Mutation Analysis, Antithrombin 3, D-Dimer Quantitative, Fibrinogen, Protime, Dilute Russel Viper Venon Time, PTT, Beta 2 Glycoprotein I IgG, Beta 2 Glycoprotein I IgM, and Lupus Inhibitor Screen (Intrinsic Pathway).
Abnormal results can be obtained in patients on anticoagulant therapy, including the newer agents (e.g. rivaroxaban, apixaban, etc.) This can result in false interpretation of lupus inhibitor.
Methodology
