If IUD source - also order MICR0005 Culture, Screen for Single Pathogen and specify 'Actinomyces'.
Yellow Top SPS Tube or Sterile Container - Bone Marrow
Possible Sterile Containers: CSF Tube, Sterile Cup, 50 mL Tube,15 mL Tube, Polystyrene Tube
White top (ESwab in 1 mL Liquid Aimes Medium) tube - Ear, Eye, Genital, Wound or Fluid from Wound (must indicate if it is surgical wound or skin wound)
Blue top (Mini-tip ESwab in 1 mL Liquid Aimes Medium) tube - Eye, Ear, Nasal, Genital
Effluent Bag - Peritoneal Dialysate (PD) Fluid
