This test will be used mainly for children suspected of abuse and is a less tramatic collection than a blood draw.
Detects the presence of methylphenidate, a prescription stimulant drug.
Specimen Type/Requirements
Random urine in sterile container is preferred.
Nonsterile container is also acceptable.
Causes for rejection: Urine from preservative tube.
