Red (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum (preferred)
Lavender (EDTA) tube - plasma
Collect serum/plasma and aliquot into 2 separate transport tubes, with 1 mL serum/plasma in each transport tube.
Do not use gel barrier or serum separator tubes.
Affected by hemolysis but not by lipemia.
