Test may be affected by gross hemolysis, gross icterus and gross lipemia. Specimen should be centrifuged and aliquoted within 2 hours of collection.

Additional Information

If the Hepatitis C Virus Antibody is reactive or equivocal, the test will reflex automatically to Hepatitis C Virus RNA Quantitative, NAT Monitoring (BLOD0343) at an additional charge.
