Lavender top (EDTA) tube - Whole Blood
Specimen must be tested within 72 hours of collection. Send to be received at Sanford Medical Center Sioux Falls Monday through Friday morning.
Lithium Heparin and ACD Solution are not acceptable. Clotted specimens are not acceptable.
Test is affected by gross hemolysis. Test is not affected by lipemia.
