Light Green top (Lithium Heparin w/gel) tube - Plasma (Preferred)
Gold top (Serum w/gel) tube - Serum
Red top (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum
Draw 12 hours after oral administration and 6 hours after IV administration.
Specimen should be centrifuged and separated within 2 hours of collection.
Test may be affected by gross hemolysis, gross icterus and gross lipemia.
