Light Green top (Lithium Heparin w/gel) tube - Plasma
Dark Green top (Sodium Heparin w/out gel) tube - Plasma
EDTA Plasma, Sodium Citrate Plasma and Fluoride Oxalate Plasma are not acceptable.
Serum/plasma should be separated from cells within 4 hours of collection.
Test is affected by gross hemolysis. Test is not affected by lipemia.
