Gold top (Serum w/gel) tube - Serum (preferred)
Red top (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum (preferred)
Light Green top (Lithium Heparin w/gel) tube - Plasma
Dark Green top (Sodium Heparin w/out gel) tube - Plasma
Serum/plasma should be separated from cells as soon as possible and aliquot capped tightly.
Test is not affected by hemolysis or lipemia.
